Migrant workers, who we encounter today, are the reflection of ourselves in the past. Many Korean people went abroad to make a living as migrant workers in 1960's and 1970's, again when the Korean society faced economic crisis in late 1990's many people joined labor migration. Present world features that we may also be migrant workers in a foreign land anytime.
